Technology can spread Video Scandal very Fast...

This talks about Scandal Videos in the Philippines.

I wonder if there is still a city in the Philippines with no infamous video of this kind. (Ilo-ilo Scandal, Davao Scandal, Cagayan de Oro Scandal, Baguio Scandal, Batangas Scandal – just can’t name them all.)

How about a university? (La Salle Scandal, XU Scandal, Adamson Scandal, Ateneo de Davao Scandal, etc. etc. and even a High School in Davao has one!)

What about a famous local female celebrity? For sure there is one video coined to her name – real or not. (Angel Locsin, Katrina Halili, Maricar Reyes, Ruffa Mae Quinto, Ethel Booba, Maui Taylor to name a few.)

Hmmm... A hotel? Government Agencies? Banks? Malls?

With the advent of technology, video recording intimate encounters seems to be very easy nowadays. There would be nothing wrong about it I guess for as long as it is going to be of personal use. But often they were not intended for it. Some use it to brag to their friends or simply to exploit the woman. Technology also made these videos spread faster with internet uploading and other ways of file sharing. In fact, the keyword ‘Pinay Scandal’ is said to be one of the top keywords being search in the Philippines since 2005. Google Trends also revealed that most searches for “Pinay Scandal” came from Cagayan De Oro with Davao and Makati following.

Setting up your Small Home Theater

Put off by the overpriced refreshments and ticket prices costing you about the the same as it does to buy a DVD, T3 is here to take the cinematic experience back to the confines of your own living room.

Follow our guide below on how to put together your own private cinema sanctuary, and before you know it, you"ll be pulling the curtains and settling down to your favourite flick in blissful new surroundings.

Step 1: HOOK UP THE BASICS

Place the four basic components of your cinema system in a suitably sized room. You'll need a set of speakers including a subwoofer, a television or projector, a multichannel amplifier and a video source, such as a DVD or Blu-ray player. The simplest way of connecting your Blu-ray player to an AV amp is with a single HDMI cable. The next best option is a component video cable, or an S-video lead. Composite video is best avoided.

Step 2: POSITION YOUR TV

Your TV's position is dictated by the dimensions of the room, but ideally it should be mounted at eye-level – that's seated eye-level, of course – and at a comfortable viewing distance from your sofa. As a general rule, the ideal distance is roughly five times the width of the screen. Another HDMI cable is all you need to connect your amp to your TV, but make sure it's capable of carrying a 1080p signal over the distance.

Step 3: PLACE YOUR SPEAKERS

When arranging your 5.1 speakers the front pair should be able to deliver a good stereo image, so position these first and point them at your ideal listening spot. The centre speaker should be in line with them and close to the screen. The rear speakers can be placed on the back wall, or to the sides of where you sit. Low frequencies are non-directional, so you can place the subwoofer anywhere.

To complete your brand new home cinema setup head to the Knowledge, where you can find the last 3 steps plus more handy guides to help you master your favourite tech.

Sassy Solar Powered Bra

TOKYO - Ladies, take your battle for the environment a little closer to your heart with a solar-powered bra that can generate enough electric energy to charge a mobile phone or an iPod.

Lingerie maker Triumph International Japan Ltd unveiled its environmentally friendly, and green colored, "Solar Power Bra" on Wednesday in Tokyo which features a solar panel worn around the stomach.

The panel requires light to generate electricity and the concept bra will not be in stores anytime soon, said Triumph spokeswoman Yoshiko Masuda, as "people usually can not go outside without wearing clothes over it."

But it does send the message of how lingerie could possibly save the planet, Masuda said, adding that the bra should not be washed or sunned on a rainy day to avoid damaging it.

Being eco-friendly is now fashionable in Japan, and the "Solar Energy Bra" follows the company's other green-themed undergarments that include a bra that turns into a reusable shopping bag and one that featured metal chopsticks to promote the use of reusable chopsticks.

"It is very comfortable and I can really feel involved in eco-friendly efforts as well," model Yuko Ishida said.
